Omi's Egg Nog

Ingredients

Quart (Family) Size

  • 2 well beaten eggs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk*
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 quart whole milk
  • 1 C whipping cream

Gallon Size (multiply as needed)

  • 8 well beaten eggs
  • 4 cans sweetened condensed milk*
  • 4 tsp vanilla
  • 1 gallon whole milk
  • 4 cups whipping cream

*The best price for sweetened condensed milk is at the dollar store.

Instructions
  1. Beat eggs very well
  2. Continue beating and add in as follows, mixing well before adding the next ingredient
    • sweetened condensed milk*
    • vanilla
    • whole milk
  3. Chill mixture for 4 hours

Serving Instructions

  1. Pour chilled mixture into a serving bowl
  2. Whip the whipping cream and fold in most of it
  3. Dollop some of the whipped cream on top
  4. Sprinkle nutmeg on top
